My space and other social networking?

Am I the only one that hates social networking, i mean the only people that do it are people that have no friends and need some perverted old man to comfort them.





I was on myspace until about a month ago when i realised, the time i have been spending on myspace could have been spent going out and meeting real people. I now am 5 more good friends the wiser since leaving myspace.

not to meet new people


but to keep in contact with my other friends..


I dont want to lose touch with them, and I know they check their profiles often.
Reply:I got Myspace to keep in touch with a friend in Alaska. I haven't seen him in about 8 years. I hate Myspace but keep my account open to talk to him.
Reply:I too use social networking online to keep in touch with my friends and family. I rarely look online to meet new people. If they are a friend of a friend, I might be inclined to message them. It is sad to know that there are many who use social networking to find and harass others just for their own entertainment
Reply:Most people use Facebook or Myspace to keep in touch with friends they ALREADY have but I guess you were using to find friends.
Reply:You must of been using social networking to look for friends you dont know and got tired of it. But i used myspace and facebook to stay in touche with friends and family back home. I don't try to look for people to be friends with. I just stay in touch with people I already know.
